Yvonne Nelson replies trolls after her ‘Sex-for-Grades’ comment

Actress Yvonne Nelson has replied critics who lambasted her earlier for her comment on BBC Africa Eye’s documentary, ‘Sex for Grades.’

The actress has been in the news and has been heavily trolled by a section of Ghanaians on social media after she shared her view saying “she doesn’t think the sex for jobs and grades would stop any time, adding, most women have the habit of exposing themselves on social media.”

“Sex for Grades! Sex for jobs! Sex for everything in our part of the world! Your brains don’t matter here. It’s the covered parts they want, oh wait, these parts aren’t covered anymore… it’s free on social media. Will, it ever change?” Ms Nelson wrote.

Her narrative didn’t go well with some people who pulled out old photos of her in bikini and other semi-nude attires, insisting she has no right to lash others for doing what she has done before.

But, Ms Nelson, reacting to the trolls, said “they lack understanding and are simply dumb.”

According to her, most people are only interested in dissing her but not to make meaning out of her statements on social media.

“So you see, peeps just don’t read to understand! If you only came to diss under the post, I understand, that’s what most people do on twitter, but if its because of the tweet, you LACK understanding and simply DUMB! Its English!! Let someone explain it to you,” she tweeted.
