Woman hits back at accusation she’s ‘killing her husband’ with lunchbox choices

A woman shared a photo on Facebook to show the lunches she makes for her husband when he’s travelling for work – but some accused the contents of being too unhealthy.

A woman has been praised for hitting back at online critics who said she was “slowly killing her husband” with the lunches she packs for him.

She shared a photo of food containers on social media, explaining that her husband often works away from home and struggles to find good lunch options on the road.

To overcome the problem, she makes a stack of pre-packed lunchboxes to take with him which include cheese slices, cold meats, fruit, crackers, and a bag of Maltesers.

She wrote on Facebook : “These meal prep containers are great for making him snack boxes to eat while on the go.

“They come with lids and have a great seal.”

The post came in for some criticism as one person replied to say: “Very good idea but I think some of those food choices should be reconsidered. There’s a lot of carcinogenic and heart attacks packed in there.”

A second wrote: “Great containers… but killing your husband with those snacks.”

Another commented: “Slowly killing your husband 1 twiggy stick at a time.”

But the woman quickly hit back to say: “No I don’t want your dietary advice, obviously it could be healthier but I have to pack what he would actually eat.

“So many judgey rude people, you should be ashamed of yourself! Go and have a breast milk, coconut oil, hemp seed, chia, activated almond cocktail and chill the F out,” Kidspot reports.

And people loved her response, as one argued: “I would probably pack very similar for my husband. What I think is beautiful is that she loves him enough to do it.”

Another wrote: “Someone’s always got something to say….the containers are ace. People in the group on the other hand…. a**holes.”

Someone else joked: “Can you pack my lunches too please?”
