The Black Starlets of Ghana will play two friendly games against Iran and New Zealand at Abu Dhabi as part of their preparatory matches for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup which kicks off October later this year in India.

The Starlets left the shores of the country on Wednesday afternoon for the Asian country to put finishing touches to their training before they connect to India ahead of the tournament which begins on October 6.

The team was initially scheduled to hold the pre-season camp in Denmark but many of the players were refused visa making the management to opt for Abu Dhabi.

Ghana who have won the tournament twice are in Group A alongside host nation India, USA and Columbia.
