NPP set up Kan Dapaah to force him to resign – Sam George alleges

Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Dzata George is alleging that the embattled Minister of National Security, Mr. Albert Kan-Dapaah was set up by his own party people. According to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP, the minister fell prey to persons within the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) who want him out. “Statecraft on display. Set a man up, play coy, orchestrate calls for his resignation and pressure him to resign. Just so you bring the ‘greater evil’ of the two to control our national security. We live in dangerous times as a Nation,” the lawmaker posted on Facebook.

“Wicked, very wicked people run affairs of State. No one is safe from the cabal. Not even one of their own. Pray and stay woke. Always!” he added. Ghanaians woke up Sunday, January 12, 2020, to a leaked video of National Security Minister, Kan Dapaah in an amorous chat with an unknown lady. Portions of the video show the lady asking the minister what he was wearing and asked to see it.

“I want to see your pajamas; I want to see the front, the back; like the way you did it yesterday,” she demanded of the minister, who then stood up and modeled in his pajamas for his interlocutor.

“Turn around let me see it, is it trousers or shorts, raise your legs; nice, wow, what brand is that, it’s nice, you have good taste,” she said.

The video has since generated debate and conversations on social media, with some shaming the lady in question and others calling for the minister to resign.
