Autumn promises crisp breezes, crunchy leaves and new iPhones, but this year we had to wait a bit longer than usual to get a glimpse at Apple’s latest smartphones. The company’s keynote earlier this week brought four new iPhone 12 models along with a smaller HomePod speaker and a new pair of Beats earbuds. In the past, new iPhones were all available for pre-order on the same day — but it’s a different story for 2020. Only two of the four are going on sale today, which makes it even more important to understand which new iPhone you want so you can decide if you’d rather jump on pre-orders today or in the near future.
First up, pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro start on Friday, October 16 at 5am PT (8am ET). They will be widely available starting October 23.
Meanwhile, pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12 Pro Max start on Friday, November 6. They will be widely available starting November 13.
