A New Mexico woman drove to — and nearly through — a home where her ex-boyfriend was sleeping with his new girlfriend, according to cops in Las Cruces, N.M.
Amanda Gonzales, 25, is suspected of using her 2015 Nissan Altima as a deadly weapon when she paid a visit to that house and tried to run over that man, his new lover and her roommate, cops wrote on Facebook.

Gonzales allegedly drove to that house near New Mexico’s border with Texas at 7 a.m. on Nov. 15 and started banging on windows, which woke up the trio sleeping inside.
“The three occupants of the home went outside to see what was going on,” police said. “Investigators learned Gonzales punched her ex-boyfriend.”
At some point Gonzales’s ex and the two women who live in the home retreated back into the house. That’s when Gonzales allegedly got into her car and crashed it near that abode’s front door. That caused the house’s inhabitants to come outside again, where Gonzales was just getting started.
“The three victims went back outside and were standing on the walkway when Gonzales reportedly accelerated toward them, forcing them to jump to safety,” police said. “After the second crash into the home, investigators learned, Gonzales put her vehicle into reverse and backed into a vehicle parked nearby.”
Gonzales’ car then got lodged atop a rock outside the house, which prevented her from driving it further. There were no major injuries reported.
Gonzales wore a T-shirt featuring Tom and Jerry to her booking. The cartoon team is known for chasing each other about with often violent results. Police said Gonzales faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a fourth-degree felony count of criminal damage to property over $1,000. She also faces misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
